We also make some provision for older former comrades because we have 18 low cost independent retirement flats in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex.

The accommodation consists of:

* 4 two bedroom and 10 one bedroom flats and 4 bed sitters.

* All are unfurnished and rents are kept in line with the local authority fair rent rates and range from £220 - £303 per calendar month with residents responsible for all charges.

* Some tenants are single but usually it is married couples who move in. However, life being what it is, it is usually the widow who is left and we make sure that she too enjoys her tenancy as long as she is able.

* Experience has, however, taught us not to allow pets and the tenants readily accept this restriction.

Bexhill offers many local attractions and Whitworth House is within a few hundred yards of the shops and amenities of the town.  Attractions include the De La Ware Pavilion, the promenade and the Royal British Legion and RAF Association Clubs.
